Biography
Born and raised in Mumbai, Priya Sharma discovered her passion for art during childhood visits to local galleries. Her artistic journey began formally at Sir J.J. School of Art, where she developed a unique style blending traditional Indian motifs with contemporary techniques. Drawing inspiration from urban landscapes and cultural heritage, her work explores themes of identity, tradition, and modernity. Through her mixed media installations and paintings, she creates dialogue between past and present. Her art has been featured in numerous exhibitions across India, earning recognition for innovative approaches to contemporary Indian art. She believes art serves as a bridge connecting communities and cultures.
